About the Event

The Maize Maze starts in September and runs for two months. This year we will have a “Dino Maze” and have officially partnered with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. They will be helping us provide additional event promotion and fun educational dinosaur activities. Our primary audience are school groups and young families and supporters of the Open Space.  Last year we had over 10,000 visitors and have seen steady growth in attendance each year. Prior to the event we will distribute 30,000 fliers to the public, hundreds of posters, and outdoor advertising throughout Albuquerque. We also will be promoting heavily to APS and charter/private schools for group visits during the week. We provide a handout to every visitor and our website received over 20,000 unique visitors last year.

About Dinner in the Field

This is an exclusive, limited-seating event in which supporters of Rio Grande Community Farm come together to enjoy a chef-prepared dinner using ingredients from RGCF and other local growers.  This farm fresh dinner will be served in the field along with festive music and a beautiful sunset.
